Headers for Street Rods with GM Front Clips & GM Muscle Cars
Patriot Exhaust Products has recently introduced a Chevy small block header that solves the exhaust problems created when grafting A, F & G General Motors uni-body front clip suspensions to street rods, muscle cars and trucks using manual transmissions.
Patriot’s “Clippster” header part number H8056 uses longer primaries than block huggers that exit toward the rear of the engine compartment clearing steering and suspension components. Slightly shorter than full length designs, this header provides excellent ground clearance on “slammed” applications. This durable header uses 1 5/8” primaries with 3” collectors.
Also designed as a direct bolt on for the popular GM 67- 81 Camaro, 68-79 Nova, 64-87 Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino, 70-87 Monte Carlo and 71-94 Passenger muscle cars, H8056 also fits with most popular angle plug type cylinder heads, D-Port ZZ4 crate engines and manual transmissions with original factory clutch linkage. Headers are provided with collector reducers, mounting hardware and installation instructions.
Part number H8056 comes with a raw finish for individual customizing or with Patriot’s very popular high luster metallic ceramic coating for increased resistance to corrosion and thermal fatigue part number H8056-1.
